The Denver Broncos quarterback made his first appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman" in seven years on Monday night, the fourth time he's been on the show since his 1997 debut as a senior at Tennessee.
Manning talked about a number of subjects, including February's Super Bowl defeat and his return from neck surgery several years earlier. But the funniest part of the conversation was his complaint that the television mics pick up a lot of his play terminology, including the now famous "Omaha" call.
"I think I know how to fix it Dave," Manning told Letterman. "I think you gotta get up there and just say some really negative things about the commissioner, Roger Goodell. 'Blue, 20, Roger Goodell's a no good, you know what.' They'll just turn that volume down a little bit."
